Editorial Policies and Ethical Guidelines


1. Authorship & Contributions

  • All authors must meet ICMJE criteria, including substantial contributions to:

    • Study design, data collection/analysis

    • Drafting or critically revising the manuscript

    • Final approval of the published version.


2. Ethical Standards

Human Studies

  • Adhere to the Declaration of Helsinki and obtain prior approval from an Ethics Committee/IRB.

  • Informed Consent:

    • Mandatory for all clinical trials, including consent from subjects/legal guardians.

    • Signed consent forms must be retained.

    • For case reports, upload the journal’s signed “Patient Information and Consent Form” at submission.

  • Follow CONSORT guidelines for randomized trials.

Animal Studies

  • Require ethical/legal approval and documentation of humane care standards.


3. Plagiarism & Originality

  • Manuscripts must be original and unpublished (including in electronic formats).

  • Screening Process:

    • ANCRI uses iThenticate to detect plagiarism/duplicate content.

    • Avoid verbatim text reuse, even with citations (self-plagiarism is prohibited).

4. Data Transparency

  • Authors must provide supporting data to the Editorial Board upon request.


5. Conflicts of Interest

  • Disclose all financial, professional, or personal conflicts in the Acknowledgements section.


6. Publication Ethics

  • ANCRI follows COPEWAME, and ICMJE guidelines.

  • Violations include:

    • Copyright/patent breaches

    • Confidentiality or property rights infringement

    • Defamatory or unprofessional content

    • Ethical misconduct (e.g., data fabrication).

  • Cases are investigated per COPE protocols; sanctions may apply.


7. Submission & Publication Rights

  • Exclusive Submission: Manuscripts must not be previously published or under review elsewhere.

  • Copyright: Accepted articles become the journal’s property.

  • Compliance: Authors confirm adherence to policies and approve manuscript content at submission.


8. Post-Acceptance

  • Articles undergo editorial adjustments for clarity and style.

  • Authors must promptly address proof corrections (excessive changes may incur fees).
