Review Process
Article Evaluation and Submission Process
1. Submission & Initial Review
-
All articles must be submitted via the journal’s online system. Non-compliant submissions will be returned for formatting adjustments.
-
The Editorial Office conducts an initial check for guideline adherence before forwarding manuscripts to the Editor-in-Chief.
2. Editorial Assessment
-
The editorial team evaluates alignment with the journal’s scope, scientific quality, and relevance. Manuscripts lacking rigor, clarity, or suitability will be rejected at this stage.
3. Peer Review Process
-
Approved manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two external experts (author/reviewer identities concealed).
-
The Editor-in-Chief and section editors conduct additional assessments, which may involve single-blind review (reviewers aware of author identities).
-
For submissions by Editorial Board members, an additional external review is mandatory.
-
The median time to the first decision is under two weeks. Authors typically receive a decision within 4 weeks, though this may extend if further reviews are needed.
4. Decision & Revisions
-
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final acceptance/rejection decision, based on reviewer and editorial feedback.
-
Authors must revise manuscripts addressing reviewer/editor comments and resubmit for evaluation.
5. Post-Acceptance Procedures
-
Copyright Agreement: The corresponding author completes a copyright/license form via the ANCRI Author Licensing Service.
-
Sub-Editing: Accepted articles undergo editorial adjustments for clarity, style, and readability.
-
Proofs: A final version is sent to the author for approval. Only minor changes are permitted; excessive edits may incur fees.
6. Withdrawal Policy
-
Authors may withdraw submissions by emailing journalancri@gmail.com, with written consent from all authors and approval from the Editor-in-Chief.
